OverDrive: The Basics

The Library has eBooks and eAudioBooks from OverDrive. Start browsing and downloading today!

You will need to provide your OCCC Email/Moodle log in when you are ready to check out and download titles.  

Due to digital rights, you cannot use public access computers (i.e. the Library computers on the 1st floor or the Computer Lab on the 3rd floor) to download titles. You can browse and checkout titles, but you will need to be at a personal computer, a mobile device, or tablet to download titles.

General Information regarding OverDrive:

  • You may check out 5 titles at a time.
  • You may have 3 holds at a time.
  • eBooks and eAudioBooks checkout for 7 or 14 days.
  • Titles may be renewed three days before the title is due. 
  • You may return eBooks early through the bookshelf.
  • eAudioBooks may not be returned early.
  • OverDrive is available only for OCCC employees and currently enrolled students.
