The Library provides access to materials that support the professional needs of OCCC faculty. An overview of these resources is below. To add a resource to the Library's collection, contact your Library liaison.
Use the OCCC Library Catalog to identify OCCC books, eBooks, and more with a focus on teaching and education. Here are some tips for searching in the OCCC Library Catalog:
Publication Date: Be aware of the publication date. After your initial search, update the publication date to get rid of older titles in your results list.
Email-A-Librarian (EAL) is an option for students to submit a request for research assistance. The request comes to the Library's ticketing system and is claimed by a librarian. The response from the librarian will go to the student's email and any further discussion will occur between the student and the librarian who originally claimed the ticket. Use the instructions and image file below if you would like to insert the EAL form link directly into your Moodle course, particularly alongside assignments where they may need library assistance.
The OCCC Library subscribes to a number of journals and databases to support the professional needs of our faculty and staff.
