You’re Invited to be a Part of OCCC’s First Scholar’s Day!
Join us on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, as Oklahoma City Community College celebrates student curiosity, creativity, and discovery at our inaugural Scholar’s Day!
The day begins with our Kickoff Celebration at 1:00 p.m. at Bruce Owen theater, featuring guest speaker Dr. Coltan Scrivner, one of the nation’s leading experts on morbid curiosity whose work has been featured in TIME, National Geographic, and The New York Times.
Following the keynote, from 2:30–3:30 p.m., explore the heart of Scholar’s Day — our student presentations and creative exhibits. Wander through the Main Building lobby to meet students from every division as they share their research, projects, and artistic work. From robotics and health sciences to literature, psychology, and design — each presentation tells a story of inquiry, growth, and discovery.
Come support our students. Be inspired by their ideas. Experience the energy of learning in action.
