Scholar’s Day is Oklahoma City Community College’s first campus-wide celebration of student research, creative work, and scholarly projects. Students from all disciplines are invited to present their work—whether it’s original research, analytical writing, creative activities, or hands-on projects like robotics or design.
The event features a one-hour poster presentation session, where students display their work on large-format posters set up on easels and discuss their projects with guests, faculty, and peers. Hands-on projects will be displayed on tables around the room.
Presenters will be asked to stand with their poster or project and share what they’ve created/learned during a one-hour session. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with presenters and ask questions about their work.
In addition to the presentations, Scholar’s Day includes a kickoff reception, an inspiring guest speaker, and an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding student work.
