All items in a library are marked with some sort of call number so that you know where you can find it. The OCCC Library uses the Library of Congress, or LC, call number system. Browsing the shelves in a library can be a great way to find interesting books, as well as familiarize yourself with the collection and layout. If you want to browse the book shelves in the business subject areas, the call number areas listed below will help get you started. All items on the 2nd floor of the OCCC Library can be checked out and taken home, but don't forget to take a look at the Reference Collection as well. Although Reference items must stay in the Library, there are some great resources in that area you won't want to miss. Reference items are located on the 1st floor of the Library.
