The OCCC library is excited to provide access to multiple types of equipment for class integration and personal enrichment in addition to laptops and mobile hotspots.
OCCC Students, Faculty, and Staff can checkout DSLR cameras, video cameras, and podcasting kits (for both PC and MAC). These devices check out for 3 days and can be renewed once for an additional 3 days.
Library staff is available for assistance with the set up and use of the equipment. We have also developed "Quick Start" guides that provide step by step instruction on getting started. Each guide also offers links to helpful sites to assist users when not on campus. If special software is needed for recording or editing, we have provided links to some suggested free options. QR codes provided with the equipment at checkout take users directly to the guide for the specific device they are using.
