To turn on the video camera, open the side panel that has the display screen. It will either automatically turn on or in the interior buttons, there is a power button.
The setting starts as video, to record, on the right side of the camera there is a silver button with a red dot. Press to start and stop recording.
To charge the camera, take the provided cable and open the side display panel. On the interior button side, there is a rubber cover with a notch. Open the rubber cover and plug the small end of the cable into the camera and the other end of the cable into the provided power brick.
Transferring Video and Photos
Take the provided cable, and open the side display panel and open the rubber cover revealing the mini USB port.
Take the opposite end of the cable and plug it into a USB port of a computer.
The message to Mode Switch will appear on the camera screen. Select MSDC.
The image on the display screen will change to look like a SD card.
The computer should autoload the computer's built in media software and the files will be available to select to import.
Individual import results may vary by computer.
Formatting SD Memory Card
Power on the camera, on the top select the Mode button.
Select the Memory card icon and it will take you to the formatting option.
Keep selecting the format card option until it gives you a page with a blue checkmark.
Select the checkmark and now all the files will have been deleted.
